Gentian Root Description

Gentiana is a perennial herb of the genus Gentiana (Gentiana L.) of the Gentianaceae family. It is mainly distributed in Northeast, Southwest, and Central China. It prefers a cool and humid climate and is highly cold-resistant. It grows mostly in alpine meadows, forest edges, or calcareous soil areas at an altitude of 800-4500 meters.
