Tangerine peel, the Chinese traditional medicine name. It is the dry ripe peel of Citrus reticulata Blanco and its cultivars of the Rutaceae plant. It is mainly produced in Fujian, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan and Sichuan in China. The ripe fruits are picked, peeled and dried in the sun or at a low temperature.
