Notoginseng Description

Notoginseng，also called sanchi, is the root of Panax notoginseng, a plant of the Araliaceae family. It is distributed in the area of altitude 1500-1800 meters and 23.5° north latitude in the southwestern China, including Wenshan in Yunnan Province, and several places where Guangxi meets Wenshan. Wenshan in Yunnan Province is the place of origin and the main place of origin. The wild species of notoginseng are rare, which are mostly cultivated and distributed in Jiangxi, Hubei, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, and Yunnan in China.
