Milk thistle is a Chinese herb also called silybum marianum. It uses the fruits and whole herbs as the herb medicine. It grows in ventilated, cool, dry and sunny wasteland and saline-alkali land which is native to Europe, Central Asia, Africa, and the Mediterranean regions. Now It has already introduced and cultivated in Jiangsu, Shaanxi, and Beijing in China.
